The way business is done in the home improvement space has changed. It is a Covid-19 world and safety is foremost. How do you communicate to your customers that your services are available while making them feel secure?

To help your advertising adapt to these challenging times, we’ve put together points to help you communicate to your customers.

Rework, refocus and change the ways you operate. Create new services or products. Virtual Meetings, Free Virtual Consultations, Online Ordering, Digital Coupons, Door-To-Door Service, Free Shipping and Free Delivery are some things you can share.

Change your verbiage and introduce new things. Tell them about the saftey protocols in place, new cancellation policies, and payment plans. Affirm your virtual and digital operations. Explain which services can be done outside the home.

Virtual Consulting

Reword Services- Example: Change: “In-Home Consultation” to “Virtual Home Consultation.” Example: Change “Come Visit Our Showroom” to “View Our Showroom Products Online.”

New Focus- Example: Change  “Keep Cool with a new Air Conditioning System” to “Be Safer with a new Air Purification System.”

Clarify Operations- Example:  Change “Monthly Pest Control” to “No-Contact, Outdoor Pest Control Treatments.”

Let Them Know You are Open

Be clear and concise about your new operations- what hours you are open, what services have changed and what new services are available. Examples: “Open For Business.”  “We are open.”   “Open to serve you even when our doors are closed.”
